K-9 Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Season opener only because it's a divisional game. GO BILLS!!!
Gray Beard Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Season Opener would be a worse loss: 1) It's the despised Jets 2) It's a divisional game 3) The Jets seem to be a dysfunctional mess, and it would stink to lose to them. 4) I don't dislike the Chiefs anywhere near as much is I dislike the Jets
Optometric Insight Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Season opener. Do you know how bad this board will be if we lose that game? Much worse than the home opener, I'll tell you that. Good thing we won't lose either of them.
Keukasmallies Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 The worst loss will be the ninth loss....
3rdand12 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 The worst loss will be the ninth loss.... ouch! The opening game is where our hopes, dreams and aspirations all meet. A loss to Jets at this point in time would be devastating and an embaressment. and heart breaking. Biggest game of the year.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Geez--people better relax. It's not out of the realm of possibilities that we lose this first game, and, in fact, start the season slow. The sky will not fall. Our schedule eases up late in the season, if I recall, which is where we can make our playoff run.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 I think it's quite possible we drop the first two games.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 The season opener or the home opener? Yes.
Rocky Landing Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 ouch! The opening game is where our hopes, dreams and aspirations all meet. A loss to Jets at this point in time would be devastating and an embaressment. and heart breaking. Biggest game of the year. Biggest game of the year so far. (And, btw, we are three point underdogs!)
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 The worst loss will be the ninth loss.... I'd go 7th. All losses suck and it's the NFL so every week is important. Biggest game of the year so far. (And, btw, we are three point underdogs!) The normal rule is home field is worth 3 points, so in a way, Vegas thinks these are 2 even teams.
eme123 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Division games almost count as double. Plus, we have been getting creamed in the division for years. The Jets game is more important than the Chiefs. Even though I could see the Bills losing to the Chiefs very easily.
3rdand12 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 lost 5 in a row and 7 of last eight to them. This s..t needs to end starting sunday. And Ballston spa.. you are off the team! we should expect to win every game. But we also Will improve as our youth settles down and does that gelling thing.
BuffaloFan68 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 9th loss? - I don't think thIs thread is referring to a game in 3 years from now so why bring that up.
FanofFredJackson Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 You want a win on opening day against a division rival to set the stage
