John Adams Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Interesting exercise for some intern, comparing the written draft vs the actual speech. http://www.theatlanticwire.com/politics/2012/09/what-bill-clinton-said-vs-what-he-wrote/56562/?fb_action_ids=4548719840547&fb_action_types=og.likes&fb_source=other_multiline&action_object_map=%7B%224548719840547%22%3A350027138417634%7D&action_type_map=%7B%224548719840547%22%3A%22og.likes%22%7D&action_ref_map=%5B%5D
DC Tom Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Interesting exercise for some intern, comparing the written draft vs the actual speech. http://www.theatlant...tion_ref_map=[] I like Clinton's version better. Much less sterile. That's why the man could connect with so many people.
Rob's House Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 I heard that once Clinton's TelePrompTer malfunctioned at the beginning of his speech so he had to wing it and delivered the whole thing off the cuff.
