K-9 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Here's the funny thing. If we win the toss and defer, the Jets are just as likely to kickoff because Rex doesn't want his offense to stink it up and make the crowd restless early, and he believes his defense can do no wrong. So, there's a pretty good chance the Bills could get the ball to start both halves. Maybe Rex can beat Marvin Lewis to it and be the first coach to kick off to start both halves of a game. GO BILLS!!!
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 All correct here... anyone that plays Madden knows this! So true. Even the computer knows (sometimes).
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Most NFL coaches choose to defer to the 2nd half but this Sunday is different in my opinion. I think with the question marks surrounding what the Jets will do with Tebow/Sanchez and the wildcat the Bills should hope we get the ball first. Chan should go into this game thinking about running the ball more than usual and shorten the game. Keep the Jets offense off the field so that question mark we can adjust to at the half. What do you guys think? Have you thought of this at all? deferring is for pussies, receive and score on the opening drive!!!
