Tom stahl Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Well looks like they know they can't beat us straight up so there fishing for our game plan lol...
PromoTheRobot Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Surprised it took them this long. PTR
NickelCity Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I always wonder whether such a strategy is ever effective. It's certainly plausible. Keep your mouth shut Derek!
Tom stahl Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 Surprised it took them this long. PTR Maybe we should work out there punter they just released lol..
jkrules Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 No big deal. If Hagan had a grasp of our offense he might have made the team.
Kelly the Dog Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 This may seem a little naive but I would be interested to know how players look at something like this. Hagan may well have been told by the Bills there is a decent chance we want you back. He is likely not going to tell the Jets a thing unless and until they sign him to a contract that makes it guaranteed for the year (if he chooses to take that one-time only option). Working him out is one thing, and Hagan is very likely better than their #4 or #5 WR. If I were the Jets I would probably sign him and then pick his brain, although I have my doubts as to what exactly he can help with and if the Bills know what little he knows they may change something up just to !@#$ with the Jets.
K-9 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Good thing Hagan signed a non-disclosure agreement which prevents him from divulging any details of he Bills' playbook and game plan. GO BILLS!!!
Just Jack Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Gosh, it's good the Bills would never do something like this, like signing Lawyer Milloy the year we played the Pats in the season opener, just 4 days before the game.

It's in My Blood Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Gosh, it's good the Bills would never do something like this, like signing Lawyer Milloy the year we played the Pats in the season opener, just 4 days before the game. More emotion than playbook spillage, IMO. The Pats were demoralized and had no chance.
reddogblitz Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I give Rex credit. It's smart. Actually, it's an old Tom Landry trick. Didn't we pick up someone the Patsies cut last year? Would be nice if we picked up Branch this year ...
CardinalScotts Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 (edited) Bills needed the player, signed him and he started. Hagan will neither sign or start and Hagan giving away our secrets ? Like what "running the same offense as last year, Freds good, tight end is big, Stevie Johnson has averaged 80 yards a game versus Revis the last three games" ...okay thanks for coming in we'll be in touch Edited September 4, 2012 by CardinalScotts
truth on hold Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Look for haggan to be named jets captain for the game and call the coin toss lol
BuffaloBillsMagic1 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Well looks like they know they can't beat us straight up so there fishing for our game plan lol... We should work out one of their offenive cuts to see what is up , if anything with the famous Jets wildcat crap....
vincec Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 (edited) Why so cynical? Maybe the Jets would just like to see what Hagan's got at WR. They're not exactly set at the position. Edited September 4, 2012 by vincec
reddogblitz Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I'm sure Hagan won't tell them anything without the proper inducement (guaranteed $$$$$$$).
Just Jack Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 More emotion than playbook spillage, IMO. The Pats were demoralized and had no chance. I thik this is what actually demoralized the Pats* that day.... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/cover/featured/9953/index.htm
NoSaint Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I'm sure Hagan won't tell them anything without the proper inducement (guaranteed $$$$$$$). Frankly, id be hesitant to sign a guy that spills everything unless I'm cutting him FAST. If he tells you our secrets, he's going to spill yours next.

If he tells you our secrets, he's going to spill yours next. I don't think there are too many players (or people for that matter) who get cut and are told they don't want you around anymore because you are not good enough will feel any sense of loyalty to said cutter.
