Billsrhody Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Thought this was pretty cool breakdown of all 16 games. http://espn.go.com/nfl/photos/gallery/_/id/8310034/image/2/buffalo-bills-2012-season-projections Projected record: 11-5 Chance at playoffs: 34.8% Chance at division: 9.3% Fewer teams had a better offseason than the Bills. They kept their explosive offensive talent and added some on D. After a 1-7 road record in '11, their nondivisional away games include the Browns, Cards and Colts. And the AFC East isn't too taxing. They will win at least eight.
D521646 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Completely meaningless prediction. Computers are as smart as the people putting in the variables. Tim-
mattsox Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Bills have a better chance of going 5-11 than 11-5
nucci Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Bills have a better chance of going 5-11 than 11-5 It is easier to lose games than win them so you are correct.
blargo Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I found it interesting that they project an 11-5 record but that gives them a 34.8% chance at amking the playoffs? Really? How many 11-5 teams have not made the playoffs?
NoSaint Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I found it interesting that they project an 11-5 record but that gives them a 34.8% chance at amking the playoffs? Really? How many 11-5 teams have not made the playoffs? well, as its just a prediction, id have to say it likely accounts for the possibility that they are less than 11-5, which is probably far greater than the chance of being above 11-5, in addition to the odds of teams beating us in with our 11-5 record. at 11-5 id guess they have a pretty darn good shot, but you also have to play the odds of them getting to that point. otherwise, if just based on the odds at 11-5 it would be either 100%, or zero, as they would have every record projected and its simply in or out.
