For the pick 'em there's not an advantage to joining late, it's just one game you didn't pick right, but for survivor, the game is already underway and some people have already been eliminated. Through 3 weeks it seems that 3/4 of the people that are in this contest picked the wrong team and are eliminated as far as the Survival goes. AS far as the team by team picks, it's still early yet.
