Just Jack Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Not even gonna try to summarize..... http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/old-navy-mistakenly-gives-1961-championship-non-existent-175020819--nfl.html
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Now that they've surely shut down production of the shirt, part of me wants to own one for novelty value.
Just Jack Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 Now that they've surely shut down production of the shirt, part of me wants to own one for novelty value. I checked ebay, none there. On the novelty factor, somewhere packed away I have a SB25 Buffalo Bills Champions penant, like this one.... http://www.ebay.com/...=item4d01b22339 I didn't pay $30 for it though.

It should be illegal to sell stuff like that. You know it's items like this that some guys wife or girlfriend buy him as a surprise thinking they did a great thing.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Not even gonna try to summarize..... http://sports.yahoo....20819--nfl.html I thought this was about who would win the AFC this year. Anyway I think Houston has a good shot.
Thunderstealer Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I thought this was about who would win the AFC this year. Anyway I think Houston has a good shot. Yeah so did I. I think Cinci also has a great shot.
Captain Hindsight Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Yeah so did I. I think Cinci also has a great shot. Dalton will hold them back. Hes no better than Fitz
Best Player Available Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Dalton will hold them back. Hes no better than Fitz The difference is Dalton has potential, he's young. Fitz is as good as he will ever be. I hope in this year (8?) he finds his groove for 16+ games.

I hope in this year (8?) he finds his groove for 16+ games. I think Dalton has already reached his ceiling. He doesnt have an amazing Skill set. Hes a smart QB with an above average arm (much like fitz) The difference between Dalton in Fitz is where they were drafted. Because Dalton was a high second rounder people assume hes so good. I saw nothing from him last that Fitz cant do
billsrcursed Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Some of the comments below the article are fantastic.
stinky finger Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I think Dalton has already reached his ceiling. Wow. He got there at break neck speed. No chance of him improving or progressing, huh? Dalton will hold them back. Hes no better than Fitz So Fitz will hold us back? Just askin'.
Thunderstealer Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Dalton will hold them back. Hes no better than Fitz I was thinking more about their defense, but yes, I like what Dalton did last year. AJ Green is my breakout sperstar.
Dorkington Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Oh hey, another thread that turns into "Fitz sucks".
Just Jack Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 Oh hey, another thread that turns into "Fitz sucks". Especially since Fitz has nothing to do with making shirts or working at Old Navy.
Orton's Arm Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Not even gonna try to summarize..... http://sports.yahoo....20819--nfl.html Houston Texans, AFC Champions, you say. Misprinted t-shirt or wise prediction?
peterpan Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 (edited) thats awesome, I would totally buy one. But a few years ago I was in a Macys or something and stumbled upon this shirt - which actually made it to the shelves..... I can't think why I didn't buy it at the time? For the record, the Bills did not win the AFC in 1980, but I believe they won the afc EAST in 1980. Edited September 5, 2012 by peterpan
BuffaloFan68 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 IMO - Dalton is more consistantly accurate than Fitz. Dalton throws a better spiral too.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 I thought this was about who would win the AFC this year. Anyway I think Houston has a good shot. I don't understand all the Houston love. Is it just because they play in a crappy division? I would give them zero percent chance at beating the perennial AFC powers-- NE*, Pitt, Balt, Denver. Plus, I can't see Schaub and Johnson staying healthy for an entire season.
Just Jack Posted September 5, 2012 Author Posted September 5, 2012 Houston Texans, AFC Champions, you say. Misprinted t-shirt or wise prediction? Only if that article talks about the 1961 season
Captain Hindsight Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Especially since Fitz has nothing to do with making shirts or working at Old Navy. Sorry jack didnt mean to hijack it
