biglukes Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 As much as I can't wait for this game, I'm absolutely dreading the sure to be nonstop 3 hours of Tebow talk by the announcers.
Mango Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012   that wasnt full blown wildcat  Never go full wildcat
truth on hold Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 (edited) The nice thing (for us) is the built in problems it creates for jets if tebow performs. GAuranteed to create conflict with calls for him to replace Sanchez. I don't see a scenario where both of them coexist, and the conflict will tear that locker room apart AGAIN Edited September 4, 2012 by Joe_the_6_pack
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Rex Ryan says you don't know if were gonna 20 times or 50 times and if your not prepared for it why wouldnt we run it. Also that it takes time out of practice to prepare for it. Well guess what Rex we run the wild cat to and you dont know if were gonna run it 20 or 50 times and you have to take time out of practice to prepare for also so imo D$%CH bag this whole thing is a wash. Â wild cat is overrated and just about done. Â Jets don't know it but we have the wishbone waiting for them
biglukes Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Â Â wild cat is overrated and just about done. Â Jets don't know it but we have the wishbone waiting for them And they'll really be in for it when we break out the fumblerooski.
CodeMonkey Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Jets don't know it but we have the wishbone waiting for them Don't know how effective that would be against the Jets, but it sure would be fun to watch Whatever Gaileys wrinkles are for this season (and I sure hope he has several), I doubt any of them involve heavy running.

Captain Hindsight Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 http://blogs.buffalo...e-tebowcat.html  Oh my god, forfeit the game. We're doomed.  PTR  I actually just pissed my pants out of straight fear

Rex as an asshat, but how is that bragging?
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 this is like 5 weeks old. Â He's still bragging Timmy Wildcat? Â as for the announcers... Use the Mute button. Â Or if you have Tivo, DVR record, wait 30 minutes and fast fwd between snaps when the Jets O has the ball.
atlbillsfan1975 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 The way you beat the wildcat is play good sound football. I mean honestly, whenever Teebow is in the game it is prety much 50/50 he will run it or pass it. DB's have to stick to their man for the entire play, DL has to play good gap control and you have your MLB be the spy on Teebow. I am sure the Jets will have a couple of nice gains with the wildcat. But overall i expect Buffalo to play some good defense, and for Wanny to put them in position to succeed. They will just have to tackle. Wrap up Teebow and wait for help to bring him down.
DreReed83 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Rex seems to be ignoring the fact that the guy who invented the wildcat is on our staff. Â Frankly, I'm less concerned about Tebow in the wildcat because he's about the worst passer in the league. Â David Lee didn't invent the wildcat offense. If you want to be technical, it's just a variation of the Single wing formation offense which was invented many many many years ago. It wasn't even David Lee who brought this to Arkansas. It was Malzahn. Just FYI. Â He's trying to hype the Tebow package because he has no running backs and no running game.
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Apparently after trying to hide the Wildcat all summer, preventing any cameras and barring the media from practices, the suddenly we have the shocking news about Tebow running the Wildcat. Â Smoke and mirrors from Rex.
jimmy10 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Can Chan get Belichick's footage streaming on his iPad? Maybe on the Netflix app?
DC Tom Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 You meant the secret that the Wildcat, like all idiotic gimmick plays, sucks?
Juice_32 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 If there were ever any secret about the wildcat...Miami let it out several years back. This whole thing is ridiculous. If Tebow had some magic, secret wildcat powers and they were worth a flip...he'd just be the starter.
Mr. WEO Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Wait til they get a load of the Brad Smith 'cat!
Hsp08 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Rex is tricking us, I think Tebow is starting!
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I know it's not a secret. Thus the quotation marks. I'm just annoyed with Rex Ryan.
