Martin Nance. Everyone here thought he was the second coming of Christ.

 

Another OBD future-HOFer was Joel Bell OT from 2009. He, too, disappeared.

Man. People were even more mad about him than Roosevelt or Easley. I hope threads like this help put things back in perspective, though I suspect no one thought nance was the savior if asked today. These guys are TOTALLY different.

It was clear- the tough part is that they rarely do anything and are easily forgotten days later even when it happens. Even the most impactful are hard to remember (cj ah you?!?!). If Florence fits (cut long before preseason) im sure this list could expand greatly.

True. The money he must've made in those 5 years is more than most anyone of us will make in a lifetime. While not a successful career, he has been successful nonetheless.
