Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 (edited) Yikes! Do they know what they are doing? another set of football coaches seduced by Trent Edwards in a red shirt and shorts Edit: very strange football world where Trentative makes a roster and VY doesn't Edited September 1, 2012 by Hopeful
beerme1 Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 I believe he is mostly an expensive clipboard holder/inexpensive 3rd qb.
RuntheDamnBall Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Well, you've got to have somebody on the scout team who can replicate how a nervous QB who always checks down will run an offense.
billsfan89 Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Makes sense Trent can manage a game, always said he would be a good backup. Key word backup.
Rocky Landing Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Andy Reid is not Dick Jouron. Exactly
Max997 Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 If Kafka didn't get hurt he prob wouldn't have made the team He is the 3rd QB behind a rookie
Glory Bound Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 He was always great in practice with the Bills...it's when real bullets started to fly that he choked. They'll figure it out.
Max997 Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 He was always great in practice with the Bills...it's when real bullets started to fly that he choked. They'll figure it out. He actually played decent on a couple games and Reid does get more out of QBs then most coaches but he is the 3rd QB, who cares
Sisyphean Bills Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Milk him for golf tips and cut him...
thewildrabbit Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 If Kafka didn't get hurt he prob wouldn't have made the team He is the 3rd QB behind a rookie Kafka has no arm, and the world saw it last year. Its why the Eagles got no takers for a trade and they just released him. Edwards got picked up by almost the perfect team to help resurrect his career in the NFL. Andy Reid is a disciple of Bill Walsh and runs a form of the WCO, and unlike Jauron and his band of clowns, Reid knows what he is doing. In case you had forgotten Edwards played his college ball at Stanford where he learned the WCO. Edwards saw a lot of play time in pre season and did pretty well considering.
