Green Lightning Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 (edited) We should sign Kareem Abdul Jabbar for red zone fades and for blocking fieldgoals. Edited August 28, 2012 by Green Lightning
iommi Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 FWIW, a poster over at BB.com who has ties with the organization say's the Bills are considering bringing in Gaffney.
Sanners Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 We should sign Kareem Abdul Jabbar for red zone fades and for blocking fieldgoals. Ha!!!
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Just to mess with bellicheat.... Love it
billsfan89 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Not a bad idea, Stevie, TJ, Nelson, and D.Jones are really the only locks on the roster at WR could use him.
Fan in Chicago Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 he was released by the Patriots today Very interesting. IGood size at 6'2" and 200 lb. have not seen him play much but looked up his stats from the last couple of years. He has ~ 65 receptions for average of ~ 900 yards. Not a touchdown machine (2 and 5) but if he can help keep the chains moving and filling that #2 spot (till TJ is ready to challenge), this season suddenly will look a whole lot better. I am in favor of bringing him in and 'stick it to Belichick' has nothing to do with it.
CardinalScotts Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 (edited) yes pick him up the Tuesday of Patriot week then cut him Saturday - just to screw with the hooded cheater seriously I hope we scan the waiver wire for a veteran wide reciever - but not him Edited August 28, 2012 by CardinalScotts
Meathead Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 hell yeah. theyd have to forget about hagan but i dont see him putting up the 900 yds gaffney has the last couple seasons
CosmicBills Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Gaffney is better than people give him credit for. I thought he was a great signing by the Pats at the time and color me suspicious now. Still, the Bills have big holes at WR and I wouldn't object to them bringing him in.
rocwocka Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I say yes, he's what every team needs... a team player, he knows he's never going to be a #1 and, therefor, knows his role
