Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Not surprised about Clowney,he just never seemed to take the game very seriously!
Chandemonium Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Not surprised about Clowney,he just never seemed to take the game very seriously! Outside of one good Session in training camp, the wide receivers who have been cut were always Clowney around out there.

jumbalaya Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 the bills brass will press the team to cut lindell and moorman to pay for Mario's contract.
NoSaint Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Is there any chance they keep a punter on a PS? I'm surprised they would keep two punters at this point. I have posted I thought Moorman would be the surprise cut of camp and I wonder if they have not made a choice yet. If they have not maybe they are holding onto Powell until the end so he doesn't get a chance to try out for other teams. Still seems crazy to have a punter on the PS and I doubt it will happen. It's not that crazy. It's still like the 60th best player so odds are its not between him and a future all pro. Additionally, with moorman getting up there, a few less kicks in practice might help save his leg - if they go that way.
White Linen Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 the bills brass will press the team to cut lindell and moorman to pay for Mario's contract. Who's "the brass" and who's "the team"?
d_wag Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 the bills brass will press the team to cut lindell and moorman to pay for Mario's contract. is this serious? i'll take that bet lindell just got a rich new deal and moorman has had his best camp in ages
PromoTheRobot Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 is this serious? i'll take that bet lindell just got a rich new deal and moorman has had his best camp in ages $10M on wasted on Merriman and people still want to say Ralph is cheap.
Dragonborn10 Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I think with McKelvin's play and the fact McGee is starting to get healthy, they only keep 3 true safeties - Wilson, Byrd, and Searcy - and 6 CB's - Gilmore, Williams, Brooks, McGee, Rogers, and McKelvin. Scott is the third option at SS and A. Williams is the third option at FS with Wilson mocing to FS and Searcy starting at SS if something happens to Byrd. That frees up an extra spot for 3 kickers or an extra offensive lineman.
Malazan Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 On the bills site it says easley is still eligible for practice squad. I bet he ends up there No receivers should be cut. I'm sure you could trade them to the dolphins for something
section122 Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Not surprised about Clowney,he just never seemed to take the game very seriously! He instantly becomes my vote for what bills player ends up on the jets roster.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Where are you guys seeing these? They're up on the Buffalobills.com site now
Best Player Available Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 The cuts are in. Batten, Clowney, and Session among most notable. Clowney is considered notable? LOL
Punch Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Clowney is considered notable? LOL It's more notable for the WRs still on the roster, if nothing else.
ExWNYer Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 He instantly becomes my vote for what bills player ends up on the jets roster. I doubt it. They had him once and let him go. It's not like he's improved...he just keeps bouncing around the league.
Mr. WEO Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 is this serious? i'll take that bet lindell just got a rich new deal and moorman has had his best camp in ages A punter had a great training camp? I'm not sure what to make of that...
poblano Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 I think with McKelvin's play and the fact McGee is starting to get healthy, they only keep 3 true safeties - Wilson, Byrd, and Searcy - and 6 CB's - Gilmore, Williams, Brooks, McGee, Rogers, and McKelvin. Buffalo Barbarian Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 I am surprised about Danny Batten, but oh well...... I'm not considering how late he was playing but I hope catches on to a 34 as he was very miscast as a 43 OLB. No receivers should be cut. I'm sure you could trade them to the dolphins for something Maybe a second round pick is this serious? i'll take that bet lindell just got a rich new deal and moorman has had his best camp in ages Agreed Moorman is going nowhere and Potter isn't accurate yet.
Mark Vader Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 A bit surprised that Prince Miller was cut already, I thought he looked good enough to last until the final round of cuts. Biggest surprise is that David Snow is still with the team.
