DC Tom Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 He can ask. I'm fine with that. And I hope the Eurozone tells him to !@#$ off. Because, y'know...what the hell has he done to help them with their debt crisis?
Doc Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 What a shock. After telling Netanyahu to hold off attacking Iran until after the election, this comes as no surprise.
IDBillzFan Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 They all do it? Absolutely . According to Jay Carney, there is precedence, citing the 1989 intervention by George H. W. Bush to stabilize the South African Krugerand until Riggs and Murtaugh could bring Arjen Rudd to justice.

IDBillzFan Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 You had to reach deep for that one. It was worth it knowing someone like BillsFan-4-Ever is right now googling "Bush, Krugerand, Arjen Rudd" to see how the Huffington Post supports Carney's position.

Duck_dodgers007 Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 He may try to set it up so that We and China help with some of the new bonds that are issued so that the borrowing costs for some states like Spain, Greece and Italy fall which will help us all, but that can't happen till after the election. The Conservatives could never understand a move like that and would throw the well being of the world economy to the wind to attack it as socialism or selling out the future or inflation or anything, so its best to not give the wildly ignorant a chance attack.
