Romney Is Now A Birther!

Recommended Posts

Actually, Cruz is eligible. He's a natural-born citizen.

I think Palin out-debated Joe because she's a half-wit. She just didn't get flustered, which frustrated Biden so much he looked like he wanted to strangle her.

If Palin is a half-wit, what does that make Obama and Biden? Seriously. She was right on just about everything. She was right about Obama and what he'd do to this country. She's was right about energy. She was right about government overspending. But she's a half-wit?

I just don't get the rationalization of seeing Obama as smart and Palin as dumb. The reality of what they both stand for and the state of the economy completely blows up that false MSM narrative. I understand that she's very polarizing, but in the end it turns out that she was right on pretty much everything.

BTW, Obama will never get a pass on the "smarts" meter until we see his transcripts. This country has 5 trillion of extra debt under the leadership of a guy who we don't even know which grade he got in his economics class. Now THAT'S an incredibly sad, stupid and embarrassing fact all of America is currently dealing with.

You are correct sir, Ms. Althouse updated her column later. (Born in Canada, but to American Citizens)

Her point about Romney's tactic to have the media carry his water regarding Mr Obama's post-American administration is still valid however.

.

The Thing About Joking . . .

Jay Nordlinger

. . . is that you can’t do it about Obama. You just can’t. The “culture” — the media, academia, etc. — won’t let you. He is off limits. A holy racial object — a holy racial left-wing object. He won’t joke about himself, and others aren’t allowed to. Therefore, he is unjoked about. Unjokable about. Or something.

Romney will simply have to joke about himself. For example, to a heckler, he might say, “Be careful, or I’ll strap you to the roof of my car.” Exasperated by the smears of the Obama campaign, he might say, “It’s enough to drive a guy to drink.” Whatever.

Remember one of his lines during the 2008 Republican primaries? “I’m the only Mormon candidate, and also the only candidate who’s had one wife.”

But no matter what, he must not joke about Obama. Almost surely, it’s Backfire City, as the first Bush might say.

When I was in college, there was a trinity of literary goddesses: Maya Angelou, Alice Walker, and Toni Morrison. No criticism of them was possible. You could bash Shakespeare, Milton, and Yeats to kingdom come, but not the goddesses.

You say life is unfair? That America ought to get over its racial hang-ups? Yeah, well, everyone should have a pretty prom date and a strong throwing arm, but . . .

Come to think of it, Obama was cruelly shortchanged in the throwing-arm department. Am I allowed to say that? Ah, the joys of not running for office . . .

Ducky is a troll. Anyone that thinks Biden isn't leaving the stage of his debate with Ryan needing his diaper changed is a fool. Biden will "wing" enough things and when he is called out on them by a vastly superior intellect who actually knows his schit, he'll become more of a buffoon, but an obvious one.

I think you're confusing Paul Ryan with Khan from Star Trek.

So true. People no longer are buying Obama's 2008 moderate, hope and change story. They don't know what religion he is or if he even believes in any religion. They don't know where he was born. They're not sure where his true political beliefs lye. Why is this the case? Because he has been a fraud. Because he has basically given middle america the finger with his socialist policies. Because he's spent millions hiding his past. The MSM is no longer in control of the dialog in 2012. The kool-aid is wearing off.

It's the case because they're either too lazy or too stupid to take 5 minutes to find out what religion he is, where he was born, and what policies he advocates.

If Palin is such an intellectual and was right about so much, why isn't she being allowed to speak at the RNC? Surely, someone with such wisdom and a loyal following should be given time to educate the masses. Come to think of it, they aren't even letting the last Republican President speak. Aren't they proud of his accomplishments as a supply-sider and commander-in-chief? The last Democrat President is speaking at the DNC.

You should learn what this term means.

They have chosen not to speak. The last democrat president is speaking because Obama needs all the help he can get and Bill Clinton needs to be in the spotlight. Obama's record is so poor that he is going to try to run on Clinton's record.

How pathetic is that? Maybe another tech boom can suddenly happen under Barry.

Green tech was supposed to be Barry's internet bubble.

Probably one of the dumbest things you hear from this administration is their vilifying Romney for investing in companies which ultimately went bankrupt while simultaneously explaining that the Solyndra gig was just an example of how investments vary, sometimes resulting in winners and sometimes resulting in losers.

But the government only invests government money, while Romney wasted OUR money.

Yep. Not dissimilar to claiming the $716B in cuts to Medicare are "savings," but Ryan's plan pushes grandma off a cliff.

Obama can't run on his record, so now he's running on Clinton's.

I would LOVE to hear Chris Christie say something that cuts to the core like this…

"Obama's record is SO bad…he's got no other options than to run on the record of Bill Clinton. How embarrassing is that for Obama!? You have failed SO badly at your job as president, that you have to go and ask your biggest political enemy to help bail you out? Wow. Here's Obama's 2012 convention theme…'Hey, weren't the 90's great! Yeah, they were great, yeah…' "Hey, remember 'Don't Stop' by Fleetwood Mac? Yeah, they was a great song…yeah…' And their campaign theme is 'Forward'!!!!? LOL...you can't be serious!? This is the very definition of 'fail' people."

Romney, Ryan wants a Voucher system. Who will force the Doctors to accept the vouchers?

I stand by what I said, whatever it was. - Mitt Romney
