They know this is the place where we were born and raised!" Romney said. What? That desperate to change the subject he has to reach out to crazyland? Funny! GOP is crazyland
Oxrock Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Was pretty funny! Even drew the "we know what's coming" groans from the croud.
Chef Jim Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 http://www.businessi...ld-trump-2012-8 What? That desperate to change the subject he has to reach out to crazyland? Funny! GOP is crazyland Yup, this definitely makes him a birther.
fjl2nd Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Come on Mitt! I was about to make thread or at least a post about actually thinking about voting for Romney and he says something stupid like this. I thought he was doing very well on the trail lately minus the abortion nonsense. A couple of his speeches were capturing my attention. Meanwhile, Obama hasn't done anything. That really is a really bad comment by Romney though. Wow.

That desperate to change the subject he has to reach out to crazyland? Funny! GOP is crazyland It's proof he didn't pay any taxes for 10 years.

fjl2nd Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Yes this changed your mind. I'm not saying this changed my mind at all. It was just a stupid.....stupid comment.
Chef Jim Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Yes this changed your mind. Exactly, what the hell. I'm not saying this changed my mind at all. It was just a stupid.....stupid comment. I thought it was pretty funny. You get it's a joke right?
B-Man Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 http://www.businessi...ld-trump-2012-8 What? That desperate to change the subject he has to reach out to crazyland? Funny! GOP is crazyland I can only assume that you are just trying (and failing) to be cute. Jokes don't count as beliefs......................(although a few posters hereseem to disprove that....lol) Besides Mitt was just following the Obama administrations advice.......................................don't you remember ducky ? ? So basically everyone, including Obama, is pretty upset about this incredible affront on Obama’s birth in spite of Romney’s continued and consistent position that he is in fact a citizen born in the United States. But really, Romney was just following the Obama Campaign’s own instructions as seen on their website store where you can purchase a coffee mug with Obama’s birth certificate printed on the side. Their description makes clear that birther jokes aren’t only ok, they want people telling them. MADE IN THE USA MUG There’s really no way to make the conspiracy about President Obama’s birth certificate completely go away, so we might as well laugh at it — and make sure as many people as possible are in on the joke. Get your Obama birth certificate Made in the USA mug today. Thanks for having a good sense of humor OFA. I’m sure you appreciate Governor Romney playing along with your joke.
meazza Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 I'm not saying this changed my mind at all. It was just a stupid.....stupid comment. It was a joke. Get real.
fjl2nd Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Exactly, what the hell. I thought it was pretty funny. You get it's a joke right? A joke....a bad one which he should know he will receive backlash for.
meazza Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 A joke....a bad one which he should know he will receive backlash for. Give me a break. He !@#$ing gets backlash because he goes to home depot and won't tell reporters what he bought.
TheMadCap Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Come on Mitt! I thought he was doing very well on the trail lately minus the abortion nonsense. A couple of his speeches were capturing my attention. Meanwhile, Obama hasn't done anything. That really is a really bad comment by Romney though. Wow. It's really not though. It's a fn joke guys, he's making light of a stupid situation, Mittens is on record several times saying he believes the President is a US citizen. Much ado about NOTHING...
Chef Jim Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 A joke....a bad one which he should know he will receive backlash for. Backlash? Really? Oy.............
fjl2nd Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 We'll have to disagree about the comment. I know Romney believes the President was born here, but I just think it was not a smart move to make a "joke" about it.
meazza Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 We'll have to disagree about the comment. I know Romney believes the President was born here, but I just think it was not a smart move to make a "joke" about it. See that's the thing. Everything is a !@#$ing backlash or controversy. Just like Obama talking about the dog incident, people should just let it go.
IDBillzFan Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 We'll have to disagree about the comment. I know Romney believes the President was born here, but I just think it was not a smart move to make a "joke" about it. You liberal dolts bit on that like it was nobody's business. You blew up the Twitter world and MSNBC launched a special panel to discuss how "racist" it was, and Romney absolutely, positively played you nuts for the fools you are dying to be. It's impossible to express how stupid you all looked to the rest of the world. Great job. Take a break. Maybe a nap. And if in your travels you see "sense of humor" for sale, pick one up.
DC Tom Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 A joke....a bad one which he should know he will receive backlash for. I thought it was a good one. Mocking birthers.
B-Man Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Its like they're three years old........"we (dems) can make fun of this, but you guys can't" Sorry, if you are going to fundraise off of it...................its fair game, so grow a pair.
Doc Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Great line by Romney. Apparently Barry can dish it out, but he can't take it.
