The Jets probably have no choice but to look outside for a RT. Wayne Hunter's four-sack game Saturday was a wake up call for the Jets.

Given who we have lining up across from RT's, this bodes well for Buffalo in week 1...

They also just released their back up RT Stephon Hoyer as well. Clearing room for someone else.

Also in unrelated Merriman news Ryan Tannehill has been named the Dolphins starter.

The Jets fans were unrelenting in their criticism of Hunter.

One mentioned that One Legged Otah would atleast get in the Defensemen's way.

Basically the Jets only have garbage at RT, Zebrie Sanders won't make it through Waivers to get on the practice squad and I don't know if Sam Young is PS eligible anymore.

Either one of those guys could go from getting cut in a numbers game in Buffalo to Starting for the Jets at RT in a couple weeks.

And both would be safe in the knowledge that they got abused by Mario Williams in practice.

GO BILLS!!!

Its too late for them to get a quality RT. Even if they wait for cuts they are going to have to wait for final cuts just to get a quality backup to fall into their laps. Hunter is their starting RT week 1, I doubt they could bring in a guy that can get a grasp on their playbook for week one once the final cuts come.

The sad thing is we traded up to get Poz when we could have had David Harris, who I personally would have drafted or Lamarr Woodley (which probably wouldn't have worked in B-Lo.)

SO SERIOUS , BE thankful that next years draft is loaded at linebacker . cross your fingers and hope for teo, mingo, jones,or montgomery.

,we passed on p.willis by not swapping picks with the 49ers because the bills wouldnt include a extra 4th,,, :wallbash: , cushing ,barwin and most recently brooks reed for arron williams, so we will see .
