Even if you off yourself? I thought that act voided most policies.

Many policies have a two year non-contestability clause that says after two years the company cannot contest an insurance claim due to fraud or suicide. That's why most companies won't insure people with major depression.

Like that's gonna stop anyone. Jump into net, crawl to edge, jump off net.

They've been talking about putting suicide barriers on the Golden Gate bridge for years.

My agent told me I couldn't off myself for 2 years after signing the policy. (He was a buddy and said it jokingly) But he was serious.

Take out razor blade and cut through the net maybe?

They're probably tougher than that. Probably need something like a reciprocating saw.

Now that I think of it, this is why there is the phenomenon of the very depressed not killing themselves, because they are not up to do any of this stuff..........But, when they start feeling better is when they kill themselves.

Depression is very passive...you feel like killing yourself, but you simply don't have the initiative to do it (or anything else for that matter).

It's when you start coming out of it that's a really dangerous time.
