Pneumonic Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 We know the kid is fast but he can also lay claim to the fact that he is smart. http://www.nypost.com/p/blogs/jetsblog/sprinter_demps_picks_patriots_over_8GLUBMBDtD0fWzPFtIV2VO

PromoTheRobot Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 More unbiased commentary? Just wait for the media knob job in 3...2...1.... PTR
vincec Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Just wait for the media knob job in 3...2...1.... PTR I'm sure that you will help to keep things in perspective.
eball Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Since when did it become a requirement for Bills fans on a Bills message board to be "unbiased?"
PromoTheRobot Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 (edited) I'm sure that you will help to keep things in perspective. Hmmmmm...who could have predicted this? Adding another potential weapon to their arsenal, the prolific Patriots offense has just solidified their standing as the most prominent offensive juggernaut in the league. . A "juggernaut" with no run game or O-line. PTR Edited August 17, 2012 by PromoTheRobot
need therapy Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 (edited) The Pats* signing Demps makes it more likely the Bills keep Potter for kickoffs. Demps can't hurt the Bills if Potter keeps kicking the ball out of the back of the endzone. Edited August 17, 2012 by need therapy
biglukes Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 (edited) So we're supposed to be terrified of him because he's fast? If I'm not mistaken, wasn't he predicted to be a 6th round pick if he had decided to stick with football? So now he's a track star, and even though he wasn't that highly touted a football player to begin with, he's going to be a stud now? Edited August 17, 2012 by biglukes
PromoTheRobot Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 We have TJ Graham...and he's been playing football the last few years. If anything the Jets and Pats* were reacting to the Bills. PTR
CodeMonkey Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Preseason? We don't need no stinkin preseason! The robot is already in regular season form!
Hapless Bills Fan Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 (edited) Hmmmmm...who could have predicted this? Adding another potential weapon to their arsenal, the prolific Patriots offense has just solidified their standing as the most prominent offensive juggernaut in the league. . A "juggernaut" with no run game or O-line. PTR Based on the presence of Brady, Welker, Gronkowski, and Hernandez, I kind of thought the Pats offense already had a solid standing as a prominent offensive juggernaut in the league. As for "the most prominent", when asked to comment, Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees just smiled. But what can you expect - it's Bleacher Report Edited August 17, 2012 by Hopeful
Pneumonic Posted August 17, 2012 Author Posted August 17, 2012 (edited) So we're supposed to be terrified of him because he's fast? So now he's a track star, and even though he wasn't that highly touted a football player to begin with, he's going to be a stud now? Who knows what his impact will be. I seriously doubt he'll be a stud however which is why he wasn't graded out much higher than a mid rounder. But, the Pats aren't adding him because they need him to be a stud for them. He's simply yet another piece in the puzzle that they are building. Most likely he'll contribute in the return game. He obviously has huge potential in this role, on a Pats team that needs such a player. Should he show an ability to help in the run game as well as in the passing game, then he'll be a mightmare matchup problem when added to the likes of Welker, Gronk, Hernandez and Lloyd. I'm not sure what a defense could do, personnel wise, to counter this. Edited August 17, 2012 by Pneumonic

FitzShowUsYourTitz Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 How can you suggest they are not an offensive juggernaut? Running game or not, they are clearly one of the best offenses in the NFL You make a good point. BUT did you read the article? Here is the quote: "Adding another potential weapon to their arsenal, the Prolific Patriots offense has just solidified their standing as the most Prominent offensive juggernaut in the league." If you did read the article. I would agree it had great alliteration. But, C'mon Man......we are in preseason and the writer claims......."the most prominent offensive juggernaut in the league." Seriously???? In August??
