Hapless Bills Fan
Ill preface this with saying hes a GREAT athlete, but ill cave and give the run down on past incidents (and ill add migraines as a worry thats not behavior related - but also not as big as many think with him missing 3 games total from them, not the 3-8 per season earlier accused of) Kicked out of high school athletics in the state of virginia for a number of fights (suspended as a junior for unsportsmanlike conduct, again as a senior for contacting an official then banned due to a MAJOR fight that had to have a game called early because it was such a mess) Major issues with work ethic and authority at UF including choking a coach http://thevikingage....und-at-florida/ tested positive for drugs at UF tested positive for drugs at the combine was accused of faking/exaggerating injuries by childress, at one point had to be seperated from him in a very heated argument over randy moss being traded, which was described as on the verge of coming to blows(i know, its brad childress and hes had issues too) just a cliff notes.... Sounds like just the kind of high-character guy Chix and Nailey would get out the checkbook for
Billsrhody
He has played most of his games but those numbers are very misleading. I had him on some fantasy teams and followed him a lot and he wouldn't play the whole game, or he was hurt and still played and was ineffective, or was suffering from something and still got in the game. Granted, that was more the case in his first couple years than last year. I had him on my fantasy team last year and he was 8th best fantasy WR in my league. I know at the beginning of the year he was complaining about the number of snaps he was getting.. but after week 3 or 4 that was a non issue and it had nothing to do with his health. Canadian Bills Fan
No way this happens. Nix and Gailey like to distance themselves from players that have had issues in the past. This just doesnt seem like something the Bills would be interested in. I would be shocked if it happened
Buffalo Destroyers!
Childress has to be the worst coach in the NFL. Who wouldn't want to get off the sinking Vikings ship. They are going NO WHERE in that division. Umm Childress was fired two years ago.
DanInUticaTampa
Let's see: The last three years average: Percy Harvin: 15 games 73 receptions 875 yards 6 touchdowns -also had 4 return TDs and 2 rushing TDs Stevie Johnson: 12 games 53 receptions 696 yards 5.6 Touchdowns Like someone else said, might wanna look up the stats before you make factly statements Thank you for proving nothing. That would be like comparing Aaron rodgers' first three years and mark sanchez's first 3, while Aaron sat behind favre. If you want to use stats, use them right Umm Childress was fired two years ago. Hahaha. Funny thing is, fraizer, current vikings hc, was wanted by bills fans over Chan gailey
jimmy10
He can lineup ANYWHERE. RB, QB, WR, kick returns, punt returns. I've always said the Vikings are misusing him. They don't know how to use him and that's probably why he's growing frustrated up there. If that's true, then I could see why we'd be interested. Chan clearly likes multipurpose players. Adds wrinkles, and can maybe free up a roster spot somewhere for things like kickoff specialists. Sounds like just the kind of high-character guy Chix and Nailey would get out the checkbook for Yeah, that's the other thing though. If he is such a problem child, I doubt we seriously go after him. WhitewalkerInPhilly
Would I like to him him taken? Yes. Do I think it's going to happen? No. First, I think the people who have talked about Chan/Nix avoiding players with character issues have been spot on. Lynch is a very talented RB, and he was let go because he was trouble. Now that he's getting suspended again and the Bills have the Jackson/Spiller combo I would say things worked out for the best there. Next, I would have to talk about his asking price. If there is indeed a bidding war I'm not sure I would want us to win. What the Bills need is for someone very talented to come in and play #2 receiver. I'm pretty confident about our depth: Stevie is a good #1, Nelson is a very solid slot man, Hagan is looking like he's found a home and Graham, defying all expectations we had of him on draft day, looks like someone we can groom into a #2. But I'm really not sold on Jones as our #2 and would be very happy to find someone who we can trust to stretch the field. Is Harvin the kind of guy who can do that? That alone should preface any bidding. Next, is he looking to be dealt because he's unhappy as he's being used or because he wants more money? Last I checked, he was making under a million a season. That's not bad, even if we give him a bit of a raise. He would have to stay at that salary level, and we would have to offer a very reasonable trade in return, and have that offer beat out all the others.. Finally, there's one simple question: is the offer legit? Even if he is a headache, what makes you think that the Vikings will let him go? They're under no compulsion to trade him at all, whining aside.

Maury Ballstein
Good call. I knew he misses practices on occasion because of the headaches, but I think he has only missed a game or two. Last I heard he hasn't had that problem in a year or so that they found out the cause. This is correct. Thanks for googling my alleged mistake billsrhody. He's questionable/probable always. I guess he played sparingly in some of those games. I watch fooseball no Wikipedia is needed. He was relatively healthy last year. Keep the draft picks I say Edited August 17, 2012 by Ryan L Billz
The Senator
Compared to the Bills prototype WR of late, Harvin seems a bit on the 'smallish' side But I'd at least give him a tryout, if the Vikings cut him GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!! . Captain Hindsight
You on crack? If we're in the market for a WR in next year's draft (which we will be), i'd fork over a 2nd round and something else for Percy. He can lineup ANYWHERE. RB, QB, WR, kick returns, punt returns. I've always said the Vikings are misusing him. They don't know how to use him and that's probably why he's growing frustrated up there. Who can blame him? He's better than any WR coming out of next year's draft and more versatile and he's still young. Just imagine what we could do with Spiller, Jackson and Percy. Chan would have a field day with those 3. Brad Smith sucks tho
FleaMoulds80
Brad Smith sucks tho I've never liked the Brad Smith signing and thought we gave him too much money. Percy does what Brad does but 10 times better IMO.
Bud Adams
For who? I think next year's class of QBs is pretty weak and we can sit and wait for a QB like Landry Jones or Geno Smith to fall to us in the 1st. I view us as picking some where in the high teens or early 20's this year and to move up to get someone like Barkley isn't going to happen. No WR is worth drafting within the first 2 rounds so I say why not? Draft a QB in the 1st and spend the 2nd on Percy who can be utilized as more than just a WR. That's just me. IMO, it's way too early to make that statement with a full season of college football to go. A lot can change in a season. Who's to say one of the "big names" from next year's draft won't have a monster year? Plus, there has been a trend of "reaching" for QBs in the first round the past few years. If we draft in the 20s, two or three likely will be gone. BA
