Chef Jim Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Happy 100th birthday to Julia Child, a champion of French cuisine in the US. I had the opportunity to meet her twice seeing she was a family friend of a Chef I worked with. She was incredibly nice and actually took the time to speak to a young Chef Jim and was genuinely interested in hearing about my background and training.
