Also note- it was preseason. Not to offend but you tend to get a different class of fan attending

The urinating experience I spoke of was a regular season game. It doesn't get much worse than idiots urinating whenever & wherever they get the urge...even if there's small children in the line of fire. I hope somehow someone with some authority within the Bills oganization reads this this thread & does something about this situation.

Went to the win against Detroit last year and was surprised at how quick the ushers were (at least in my section) to crack down on the idiots. Best was when a guy a row ahead of us lit up a cigarette and then wanted to fight the usher who told him he'd have to leave. About 3 dudes in security jackets came down quick and they escorted the guy out in cuffs. Sorry you had such a rotten experience. Maybe the Ralph is using replacement ushers until the season starts? :D

Edit: apologies, the Detroit game I referenced was the 2010 season. My bad.

I've always said, building an indoor stadium in Buffalo might curb the late season weather advantage but it would cut down on the ridiculous behavior in the stands. Ever been to a game in an enclosed stadium? People don't tend to fight as much indoors or get stupid. EVen the language is curbed because it's like yelling in your living room. Something about being outdoors in the elements emboldens people to act in a more unruly way. I love going to Bills games but it does have maybe the most rowdy fans in the league...in a bad way.

For the first time, fans are able to text the team with important and/or emergency information on the day of the game that will help alleviate guest service related issues. To report an issue, fans may text “BILLS” <space>, followed by their location and issue to 78247. Once the text message is received from Guest Services, the appropriate staff will be alerted to respond. Calling the team’s fan hotline number 716.312.8933 and asking stadium/team personnel for assistance will continue to be an option for fans

Article is from 2008. The number is displayed at the stadium and they run ads with the number on the jumbotron.

Also remember when you were in your early 20s. Don't act you weren't piss drunk, yelling and swearing trying to sneak drags of a smoke inbetween plays. And if you say that you never did that. You, my friend, are a liar. The is nothing worse then a liar... well maybe a pats fan.

Meh it's bull **** you should be able to brink your 5 year old there. Most other cities you can.

I'd like to know what other cities you can. Def not in Pittsburgh, when grown men act like the 16 year olds you described. Or Cleveland. Someone let me know if i'm wrong about Cleveland...I'd like to go to the Bills game there, but am leary that their fans are a-holes.

Not excusing the behavior by any means, but an evening game that means nothing on a warm summer night = recipe for lots of shenanigans. I would have thought twice before bringing young children.

NEWSFLASH: Inebriated, unruly people often attend sporting events pro football games.

Fixed.

You rarely see that kind of crap at college events, baseball games or even hockey games (unless it's a Sabres playoff game in Raleigh).

People coming into the stadium drunk should be kick out before the game ever starts & beer shouldn't be served after halftime

Beer is not served after halftime.

PS. RWS is officially smoke free...so if kids are smoking pot...you got every right to tell the ushers.

It's funny you mentioned the Ralph being smoke free before saying pot was illegal.

Not like that in all stadiums. Watching games at the Georgia Dome is like going to an opera. Boring and sterile if you ask me.

Be nice to find a middle ground.

Getting drunk and cursing up a storm in the stands... most definitely.

Passing out, puking, or pissing on myself or others in the stands..... I can honestly say that myself nor any of my friends have ever done that.

My grandmother has had seasons for 40 years and I went to a lot of games at a young age. The swearing didn't leave an impression on me but I do remember there always being a fight or two. I never recall any stories like the ones people are putting in this thread or that you basically hear about all the time now. Definitely seems like the fans are getting slightly more out of control or kids just can't hold their booze these days.
