Punch Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 After reading some posts from the Kick is Good I reflected a bit on the Bills' Wall fo Fame and realized, even after seeing his name for so many years, I had no idea who Pat McGroder was. This article from Buffalo Rumblings explains his major contribution to the existence of the Bills in Buffalo and proves he's a worthy addition: http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2010/9/4/1658230/september-4-1985-mcgroder-joins The next time you attend a game at the Ralph, starting tonight, gaze up at Mr. McGroder's name and tip a cold one to him.
dollars 2 donuts Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Thanks Punch, that was good. The only thing I previously knew is that he worked for the Bills for a long time and was breifly their GM. I knew nothing about how influential he was in bringing the team to Buffalo and that he was the "Buffalo" guy.
