SDS Posted August 7, 2012 Author Posted August 7, 2012 Is the 'ignore user' feature not installed yet? Mine's not working... It works for me. I have one person on it and it worked when they tried to post. You'll see a small line where they posted - it isn't formatted like the other posts.
Kevin Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 (edited) I like it. Feels cleaner somehow. Edit: and I like the reminder that I have a warning point. Don't worry, DWC, you're not alone. What is a warning point? How do you get one? Also, when I look at the emoticons that is the symbol I see. On my screen its the blue box with a question mark in it. Edited August 7, 2012 by Kevin
John from Riverside Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 I still have my parachute pants Thanks for all your efforts SDS....it looks fine to me everything except for the color scheme which for some reason seems really really bright. It makes it a little difficult to read.
SDS Posted August 7, 2012 Author Posted August 7, 2012 I have installed Tapatalk for those who own the $3 app. Let me know if/how it works. Also, when I look at the emoticons that is the symbol I see. On my screen its the blue box with a question mark in it. Fixed now.
Chilly Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 and what happens if you click on it? The Moderator CP lets me access Unapproved Content, Removed Content, and Manage Members. I can see warnings, banned members, suspended members, etc. Don't think I could see that stuff before. I can't make any changes, though.
The Tomcat Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Could you do that before? No we couldn't..... I read tbd on my phone and my Kindle a lot.... Didn't know if it was just a setting
LeviF Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 What is a warning point? How do you get one? They're points you get for being naughty.
HurlyBurly51 Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 I don't like the fact that I have a "warning point" to be shown to the public... Makes me look like a delinquent... No one sees that but you, but now that you have posted it - we all know. Since you mentioned it, is it documented anywhere how the system of warning points works, what happens at what level, do they ever expire, etc? A "friend" told me they've got a warning point out there from 3 years ago.

Your access seems a little high though.
Nanker Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 The beer smiley shows up tiny in the string of smileys. But it looks like it's a full 12 oz mug in the edit window. Thank heaven!
Clippers of Nfl Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 (edited) 1. How many points are allowed till you get banned? 2. Got a warning point for a "duplicate thread". Kind of harsh don't you think. Edited August 7, 2012 by Clippers of Nfl

Clippers of Nfl Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 This isn't the thread to hash this out in. Thanks. Sorry SDS, I was just wondering.
SDS Posted August 7, 2012 Author Posted August 7, 2012 No we couldn't..... I read tbd on my phone and my Kindle a lot.... Didn't know if it was just a setting I assume you need larger text?
SactoBillFan Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Looks good. Did you intentionally leave out when the members joined? Thanks SDS
shrader Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 It works for me. I have one person on it and it worked when they tried to post. You'll see a small line where they posted - it isn't formatted like the other posts. If the owner of the board has someone blocked, why does that poster even get to stick around? Anyway, I have no issues with anything so far. Maybe the sabrespace lead in was a big help.

NewEra Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 I like the old setup personally. My motto, if it's not broke, it don't need fixin. -haven't been on my pc yet, just the iPad (using the regular site, not the mobile). When replying to a post, I used to be able to select and boldface parts of a post so I can outline what I was replying too. Can't anymore. Are you going to implement that back in? Looks good. Did you intentionally leave out when the members joined? Thanks SDS And this
Phil Hansen Forever Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Me likes the white space! It feels cleaner than cola. So it's the 7Up of websites now?
