Alphadawg7 Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Found this article...Looks like Brady, who is 35 now, plans to play into his 40's. My link
Matt in KC Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 I tink it's up to the Bills to make him change his mind!
The Cincinnati Kid Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Mark Brunell played till he was 40. Warren Moon did too I think, as did Farve. It goes either way. Some can keep their skills, other diminish faster.
BuffaloFan68 Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Perhaps he'll change his mind after Mario, Williams, Anderson & Dareus have a couple of meetings on top of him.
Drifter Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Father time is a cruel bastard. Planning on playing to a certain age and actually doing it are two different things. We'll see how his body holds up.
Captain Hindsight Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Just anecdotally I feel like Brady isnt as accurate as he used to be and seems to press more. He is still great but time may be catching up to him as his line retires/ begins to suck
Hapless Bills Fan Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Just anecdotally I feel like Brady isnt as accurate as he used to be and seems to press more. He had a breakout year in 2007 where his accuracy jumped to 69%. After his vacation in 2008, he's been running a steady (and top-tier) 66%. The line retiring/beginning to suck bit is a great point. Ask Kurt Warner about the difference between playing behind a good line, and playing behind a padded sieve.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Brady wants to play for a long time still? That'll change on September 30th.
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 I'm hoping he breakdown more quickly than expected and physically cannot handle it anymore
The Wiz Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Mark Brunell played till he was 40. Warren Moon did too I think, as did Farve. It goes either way. Some can keep their skills, other diminish faster. As did Vinny Testaverde
The Senator Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Brady wants to play for a long time still? That'll change on September 30th. You are correct, sir - women are quite fickle about these types of decisions. I believe Marcia* will announce her* retirement on October 1st.... GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to be undefeated...I expect to win every game." - Chan Gailey 19 and 0 baby!!!!!

Ask Kurt Warner about the difference between playing behind a good line, and playing behind a padded sieve. He still completes a ton of balls that wasnt what I was saying. Just he seems more human now, The Bills game last year was a big example of that and a few throws in the super bowl (welker). He used to make that throw no problem
Dorkington Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 He makes it through most NFL seasons without taking too much damage. A well protected QB can play a long time.
Optometric Insight Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 No he doesn't. I know what's best for him and that's not it.

I just logged on to say that was the funniest post I've read in a while.

kasper13 Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 He won't after his wreck of an O-Line gives up 20 sacks on September 30th. He'll quit or be carried off.
