Fan in San Diego Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Unfortunately yes. Nasa is afraid the microbes will contaminate the Martian soil in the presence of water. Ray Bradbury is smirking somewhere. Unfortunately yes. Nasa is afraid the microbes will contaminate the Martian soil in the presence of water. Ray Bradbury is smirking somewhere. Who is to say this wasn't how life got started here on earth long ago.
DC Tom Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Who is to say this wasn't how life got started here on earth long ago. Yeah, right. Life started here by NASA contaminating the Earth. Idiot.
Fan in San Diego Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Yeah, right. Life started here by NASA contaminating the Earth. Idiot. No you missed the point, some distant planet from a galaxy far away, billions of years ago, sent a probe to our earth and left behind some microbes that flourished. Idiot.
/dev/null Posted September 19, 2012 Author Posted September 19, 2012 No you missed the point, some distant planet from a galaxy far away, billions of years ago, sent a probe to our earth and left behind some microbes that flourished. Idiot. No no no Life on this planet started as a way for aliens to genetically engineer a slave race. Haven't you seen the guy on the History® Channel with the crazy hair?

Haven't you seen the guy on the History® Channel with the crazy hair? Your right, that explains those alien abductions, they are getting slave labor. I bet Bain Capital funded it.

Chef Jim Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 There is a possibility that the organics could have come to Mars from Earth aboard the rover
CosmicBills Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Remember, NASA is part of the DoD, not a civilian institution. This has all the markings of a coverup/spin job. They found something on Mars, alright. They just won't tell us.

Im really not holding my breath on this one No disrespect, but I find it hard to image that anyone who has any idea of what Curiosity is, what it does, and how it got to where it is right this very minute could possibly think that anyone involved is "hard up for something dramatic."
PromoTheRobot Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 They are just double-checking. Sorry for trying to be absolutely sure. Jeez. PTR
