justnzane Posted August 2, 2012 Author Posted August 2, 2012 Do you live in or around jersey. Its a 3rd party site, sports and location bring up relevant ads nope in buffalo. makes no sense why I am seeing that gutter trash on the front page.
ZAZusmc03 Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Funny you mention that. I opened this thread and there was that same add directly after your post, along with calvin klein add. Now that I'm signed in to respond, they're both gone. And I live in Pittsburgh
justnzane Posted August 2, 2012 Author Posted August 2, 2012 You should ask for your money back. ok sounds good. Scott I want my $ back from when I bought a SabreSpace Slug shirt Does anyone think Jests is funny? With their clown of a coach you can't take them seriously, so the moniker fits appropriately
Mr. WEO Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Two reasons, obviously: 1.) Woody Johnson wanted to "phuckdabills" fans. 2.) Ralph is cheap.
Optometric Insight Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Kaleta agrees to multi year deal?!? Nice. Way to keep the locker room together, Sabres signing person.
Best Player Available Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 nope in buffalo. makes no sense why I am seeing that gutter trash on the front page. I believe krap like that is a felony in 13 states. Contact the State Attorney general to see what can be done.
stevestojan Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Maybe because Scott charges $0 for us to be here, running a site of this size is EXPENSIVE, and ad revenue is the only $ coming in, and I'd guess Scott does not break even. So if you want to determine what ads are shown, make an offer for your own ad to take its place.
You herd it hear last Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Does anyone think Jests is funny? funny, no. appropriate, yes.
BRAWNDO Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 IIRC some Web Ads are linked directly to what each individual IP address is searching or reading about. I have looked up information on google and yahoo searches about from everything fishing gear to the OKC Thunder and shortly afterwards had ads related to both on TBD and other website sites.
thebug Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Ads are ads. Just do what people around here do when I post, ignore it.
Bud Adams Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Does anyone think Jests is funny? Surely you Jests...
You herd it hear last Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Surely you Jests... I'm not, and stop calling me Shirley. Just not as funny typed out...
WickedGame Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 I work in Internet marketing. I'm on my phone now, so it's a pain in the neck to look into it more closely, but the ad is likely either A) a Google AdWords Content Network ad, which are displayed all over the web and can be targeted based on the words appearing on the page the ad displays on (and the words "NY Jets" definitely appear on this site), or B) a "remarketing ad," which the Jets would buy and is displayed (based on cookies placed on your computer) to someone who has visited the Jets website (which you could have done while researching our foes). It's actually smart marketing by the Jets. Bills fans go to Jets games, too, after all...twice a year.
