Dante Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) Apparently not. As much as media and the good old boy repubs (that like their cushy status and don't want to rock the boat), want to marginalize the Tea Party, they seem to be getting stronger. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2012/08/01/tea_party-backed_cruz_wins_texas_gop_senate_race_114965.html Edited August 1, 2012 by Dante

IDBillzFan Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Well...it is Texas...don't get too excited. Yes, but it's the removal of an establishment GOP when last month's polls had Cruz at a double-digit deficit. It means nothing to liberals happy to keep voting people like Pelosi, Reid, Boxer, and Jackson Lee over and over and over because they'r told to. But to conservatives, it's great to see "expected" officials get bumped out. It's as good as upsetting an incumbent.
Dante Posted August 1, 2012 Author Posted August 1, 2012 Well...it is Texas...don't get too excited. I think what gets me moderately excited is that when people actually get to vote on left vs right issues, it seems the conservative point of view wins. Cruz, Scott Walker(in a Obama state) and of course the 2010 elections. Now where there is corruption and a stacked deck, like the Supreme Court, left wing tyranny wins the day. Much like how Obamacare was crammed through. I know there isn't a lot of data in but I like the way its going as far as the people go.
