THATS KILLER ORANGE JUICE Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 I agree with many of the recent posts posing questions and making statements along the lines of "this has to be the year for fitz" or "last try for fitz"... TOTALLY AGREE... This has to be the year he plays more consistently, throws 25 tds or so, but without all the picks.. All that being said: Nobody has much acknowledged that THIS YEAR is the FIRST YEAR of Fitz not only being the bonafide number one guy, but having a FULL OFFSEASON of real work. I do not like to make excuses for my bills.. im 23 and basically wasnt around for the golden years. We all know he has the brains. But honestly IM NOT CONVINCED THAT HE DOESNT HAVE ALL THE PHYSICAL TOOLS TO DO IT EITHER. look at a guy like drew brees, physically, they are about the same guy. the year My point is... this is literally the FIRST year of a FULL off-season AND training camp for him. last year was a lockout and he among all other bills (especially rookies) didnt have all these work-outs and ota and etc. it was all so rushed and hurried that im surprised in a big way he and the rest of the bills played as well as they did off the jump. the year before that, he didnt even go into the season as the number one guy. I think that if you all take a second to think about it, you might feel and extra shot of confidence in ya boy fitzy. My predictions: Fitz can and WILL be a top 10 qb this year...(26 tds 11-13 pick, 4000 yds) Stevie Johnson WILL be a probowl wr and have slightly better numbers than the last 2 years TJ graham will have good rookie numbers (40ish catches, and catch 4 tds, 2 or 3 of which will be homeruns) FRED and CJ will combine for 1450 yds rushing and 1000 yards receiving, all the while keeping fresh legs. the best suited rb THAT WEEK will get the touches chandler will repeat numbers o-line will mirror last years when they were healthy, maybe even improve D-line will be top 2... maybe 3 if were unlucky defense as a whole will vastly improve, although were gonna have some heart attacks in our YOUNGGGGG secondary Stephon gilmore will be a candidate for d-roy PLAYOFFS --- whether we sneak in with 9 or 10 or we dominate with 11 or more... This years definately the year for Fitz to show what hes got, im as confident as ever. I think we all should be. FEEDBACK PLEASE? -Thats some Killer OJ

I would it, But I can't honestly think every area of our team is going to improve or stay the same. In regards to Fitz........ I don't need gangbuster numbers. I just want him better than he was the second half of the season. BD
billsrcursed Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 I'm pretty sure your points about it being Fitz's first "full" year have been discussed quite a bit, actually. It's a key piece in someone's argument for why they feel he will improve and be successful. Actually, his injury and Mr. Lee are the only other fallback points most use when explaining why he should be better this year when compared to last. I'm on board with this argument, and agree he "should" improve this year. No more excuses... Also, I find it incredibly easy to root for him, much like the rest of the guys on our current squad.
