webtoe Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Not expecting much, but curious if any camp watchers have seen him out there? Maybe today after they practice in pads.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Not expecting much, but curious if any camp watchers have seen him out there? Maybe today after they practice in pads. Caught one little tid bit (sorry no link) that said he was playing LG next to Hairston and the two were pass blocking well together. That's about it...
BillnutinHouston Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I caught a short blurb the other day saying he was stout at guard. No link, however.
biglukes Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 He's running on the 2nd team at LG. That's about all I've heard on him.
3rdand12 Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 i also did read he is on the field at guard and looked strong. no link. glad to hear he is getting reps. our offensive line has an awful lot of competition this year geez louise. now this tackle Carmon too.?
PromoTheRobot Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I will see Mike after the Skins game. I'll ask him. PTR
MARCELL DAREUS POWER Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 hes only 2nd team unitl wood gets back... but they should keep him on the practice squad. i think him, young, and sanders are going to fight for that final 4th spot on the backup oline
machine gun kelly Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 The nice part is so many lines pull to the left so there is basically a wall between the left tackle, guard and center, vs right guard where they can on an island. This works well with Jasper between wood and Glenn or Hairston. That is some serious beef if all pulling together to provide a nice seam for Freddy or CJ. I still have hopes for him to make the backup position as we'll see him by. The end of the year. Don't you just love we finally have depth on the most important unit on the team. 19-0!
Cinga Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Over at BBMB Badlandsmeanie mentions him. Said he looks stout and that on a rush be Carrington, Jasper not only held his ground, but stopped him dead in his tracks... It's a really good story by BLM, worth taking the time to read...

MARCELL DAREUS POWER Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 With the horrendous play of young and sanders today, they might keep jasper and put sanders on the ps...
You herd it hear last Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 hes only 2nd team unitl wood gets back... but they should keep him on the practice squad. i think him, young, and sanders are going to fight for that final 4th spot on the backup oline so of those three, who has the highest talent ceiling?
