boyst Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 In the last 2 days you've made two dozen posts, about 20 of which have been bagging on the Bills starting QB for a crusade percentage of over 80%. This pattern has been going on for months. It has nothing to do with your opinion on the subject; it's all about the fact you won't shut up about it. Nobody wants to sit here and listen to some mouthy attention-seeker ripping the Bills QB 10 times a day. You've done more to degrade the quality of this board than any other currently registered member. This will be the last contribution I make to this discussion; the next time we talk about it, it will be in private, it will be brief and it will be significantly less pleasant than this one. I wish you the best of luck in learning the kind of self-control which may permit your continuing presence on this board. For the record I agree with what he is saying... I will say, though, that if you can elaborate a little and then the perception might change. You're not alone in your thoughts but you come off poorly with each post rehashing the same point.
marvlevy Posted September 12, 2012 Author Posted September 12, 2012 Now thinking 5 wins is very optomistic.
DanInUticaTampa Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I really can't tell how many wins, like at all. I can't imagine they are as bad as they played in week one, but I can't deny how bad they looked in all three phases. If they don't win the next two games, there is no way they win more than 6 this year.
BRAWNDO Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Eight  Just enough to miss out on all the first round QBs.
maddenboy Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Eight  Just enough to miss out on all the first round QBs.  God, that is the winner. The number of wins doesnt matter. But this sick feeling i've had for more than a decade tells me that this answer . . . feels right.
thewildrabbit Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 2 I'm starting to think 0, let the Bills draft Barkely or whatever QB looks to be the best. Hire some good coaches after the season.
Dorkington Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I'm thinking 9 to 10 wins, and a playoff miss. Â So, maybe I was optimistic. Â Lowering my expectations to 6-8 wins.
peterpan Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 How exactly did the Bills get one win worse this off-season? Â PTR Â Because other teams get better and the Bills dont?
Billsrhody Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I could see this team winning 10-11 games this season. As I went through the schedule, They have a lot of favorable matchups on the road where they traditionally haven't been that good. Here's how I see it playing out: Â 1 - @Jets. The Jets always play the Bills tough in their house. LOSS. 2 - Chiefs. Home opener should be a madhouse. WIN. 3 - @Browns. Weak opponent on the road. WIN. 4 - Patriots. I hate the Patriots more than you do. LOSS. 5 - @49ers. Tough road matchup. LOSS. 6 - @Cardinals. Kolb never was the answer. WIN 7 - Titans. Chris Johnson rebounds after sitting out part of last year. LOSS 8 - BYE week. They could easily be the 3-4 I've outlined above or possibly better. 9 - @Texans. Revenge game for Mario. WIN 10 - @Patriots. LOSS 11 - Dolphins. That team will be horrendous. WIN. 12 - @Colts. Luck will not have a magical first season. WIN. 13 - Jaguars. Welcome to Buffalo. WIN. 14 - Rams. Another team in rebuilding mode. WIN. 15 - Seahawks. Favorable home games here. WIN. 16 - @Dolphins. They're still a bad team. WIN. 17 - Jets. Whether they win the first one on the road or this one, I think they split with the Jets. WIN. Â This season is going to come down to their health. They do have the schedule though to win 10-11 games and possibly the AFC East outright. If you look at the Patriots schedule, it certainly isn't as favorable in terms of the teams they have to face. Â I like the look of this, even know. The bad week one loss lights a fire under the team. They get through a tough schedule and lose close games to some good teams. They get rolling towards the end of the year and rattle of 7 straight to make the playoffs. How perfect would it be to have a home game against the jets on the last game of the season to decide playoffs? Â Payback would be sweet.. Â wishful thinking? maybe
Salty Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I still think the Bills can have a good season, 10-6 is possible, but if they look like the team that showed up against the Jets 7-9 is our record for the year. It is early and I still think the Bills will regroup and make a good run in the second half of our schedule. This cant go on forever, the Bills will be winners again someday, its gonna happen.
BuffBill Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I am going to go with 6 wins and a the annual top ten draft pick again.
Maury Ballstein Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Â 3-3 Losing games to each team. Â Â So fitz will beat the jets ? That would be amazing 0-6 career record 32,000 INT'S VS NYJ
FastFreddy22 Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 8 and fall short... Make it 14 yrs and sadly more then half of my lifetime.. My dream is to see the bills in a playoff game that's sad
bschmoove Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Before the season 16. After the Jets game 0. If they win Sunday 15. Sum it up for ya?
HeHateMe Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Even with this sorry a$$ schedule, they will probably only win 6-7 games. Luck will feast on them in Indy. Gabbert and Bradford will probably have career days too.
