Buffalo Barbarian Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Sad to say but I think 5. Seriously? We won 6 last year and you think we will be worse BTW 10 WINS!!!
boyst Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Unless you count a second loss to N.E. which I believe was said to be possible. That would make it 2-4, no? I figure we beat Houston or NE and lose to the other.
Billshank Redemption Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I really dont know what we are going to get but for you to honestly say 5 is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard I have a hard time seeing us not getting to 8 wins. If we don't at least get to 9-7 it will be a disappointing season in my opinion. Seeing as we havent made the playoffs since I was a first grader I dont even know what being in the playoffs feels like let alone the superbowl. I would literally do anything to see it and I just really cant be that optimistic because I have had my heart broken so many times. Although this year I feel like we have the depth necessary to make a run and finally break our streak. As someone said its about fitz, if he stays healthy and plays well we should be alright.
reddogblitz Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 As someone said its about fitz, if he stays healthy and plays well we should be alright. Why is it all about Fitz? Granted he does play the most important position in football, but he's just one guy. I think it's more if our WRs can consistently catch the football AND the ones that aren't perfectly thrown. And if Fred stays healthy. If Fred doesn't break his leg last year and SJ catches the ball in the 4th Q against the Jets, it could have been a different story. Now that we have Vince, even if Fitz does get hurt we'll be OK I think.
You herd it hear last Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 i currently believe 10 is a realistic objective, and 12 should be a possibility. however, i won't lock in an actual number until early september. to quote a certain four-man outfit: "i won't be fooled again." jw I won't GET fooled again
IslandBillsFan Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 When thinking about these types of questions I have to think of what could be the most possible wins just to break my heart..... so 9 and we miss the playoffs.
machine gun kelly Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Either 10 or 11 wins and a wildcard spot. patsies win the East and the jets go 8-8. I also don't see the dolphins doing better than 6 wins. It ma,es no sense switching a successful 3-4 defense to a 4-3 defense. Can't wait for September.
Just in Atlanta Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Without the injuries last season, we were an 8-8 quality team. With a revamped D, an addition to the O line, and more depth, I fully expect 11 or 12 this season.
Pneumonic Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 8-10 is my prediction. 10 gets a wild card berth and playoff game. Less than that and it's golfing again in January.
PastaJoe Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 If they play to their potential it should be 10 wins. But experience says we always overestimate Buffalo teams, so I'll say 8 wins.
3rdand12 Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I won't GET fooled again WE wont get fooled again. dammit.
CosmicBills Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Playoffs or bust. There's no excuse for this team not getting at least a wild card this year. I like Promo's pick early in the thread: 11 wins is doable with this schedule.
You herd it hear last Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 WE wont get fooled again. dammit. We shouldn't necessarily get fooled again? LOL Ironically, as a vocalist in many rock projects I have sung this song live many times... add to that, I posted this after a jam last night... I think you may now know why I misquoted jw's misquote... do the math... funny schtuff
San Jose Bills Fan Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 We shouldn't necessarily get fooled again? It's highly unlikely that we'll be fooled again?
