ExiledInIllinois
Because if they made money, somebody else made it happen. Again, no business operates in a vacuum. To correct your post, it should read: "Because if they made money, something else helped it and enabled it to happen." At the most basic level, there lies a peaceful, stable country enabling business to flourish. That, like everything else comes @ a price. Again, nothing is ever done in a vacuum. Everything else people spin about this is BS. Like I said to cinga, if a vacuum existed, I would agree with him 100%.
Chef Jim
Yes. Sure SF is a pit of despair according to Wacka... But it is also a thriving place that NORMAL people want to be. Why do people other than the bums want to be there? The city should be in ruin after these lib polices... Why isn't it? Or is it? And yes, I have been there... It is thriving, vibrant city and cultural center. Why isn't it dead by now from the total pit of despair people make it out to be? This city thrives in spite of all the liberal loons not because of it. We refer to it as the city of unenforced laws. But as dev pointed out it's interesting how liberal politicians feel they need to go conservative to attract business. And BTW SF is by far not inhabited by "normal" people. There are parts I miss but lots I don't. The good thing is that it's only 15 miles away and I can be just like the tourists. Go in and enjoy all it has to offer but leave at the end of the day. Interesting take. But business is still attracted there given all the warts that it has. Something else is making it thrive, and it isn't just the incentives to business. There is nothing wrong with using the best of both political sides. That is how you are suppose to do it.

So you're saying tax breaks are a good thing?? There are many things that allow the city to thrive and most have nothing to do with the loony left that runs that town. One is it's the financial hub of California. Other has to do with the amenities that support that industry. Also tourism brings in a boatload of money to this town. But I've also said that city would be the world's best if it weren't for the tolerance of the left. They tolerate all these things that hold this place back that have people like Wacka calling it a **** hole.
