lawnboy1977 Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 Hey it may not be an elite unit, but it's much improved. The two previous years we gave up 54 sacks each year. This year it's only 35, not bad. For a guy like Bledsoe who doesne thave much movement, giving up 35 sacks is pretty good and i think a damn good reason this team has been so good. Even the Pats have goven up 25.

One cannot help but look at next season however......this team now appears very very close to doing a lot more then fighting for a wildcard spot...... I look at what is needed to push us over the top.... Left Guard....I love tucker....I think L. Smith is ok...and I hate Pucillo....if we can find a way to keep the rest of the unit together we need a real road grader left guard who is also good in pass protection. I think we this is a key area Tight End.....I think Euhus will turn into a player....Campbell is a excellent 2nd TE.....but we need a large target that both blocks and catches equally well so as not to tip off the defense I am proud of what Kelsay has done......and I think he should be a bills player for years to come....but we need a speed rusher to move Posey out of that element and making him strictly a linebacker....we need a DE that can be brought in on 3rd down and have offense be forced to account for him......we also need to look at cornerback.......

LMAO, but some here would tell you the line was never the problem!

Don't forget both of our safeties are in their 30's. We have Reese but we need a consistent/competent SS too once Milloy is no longer on the team.
