we wound buying tickets from the box office about 3 songs in to the show...3 songs before intermission we got onto the field level and watched most of the rest of the show from the 10th row right center...by the end we were dead on front row center at the railing...simply amazing...the visuals were stunning!!!!!

Funny how the production and visuals have been mentioned here several times but nothing about the music. How much of it was filled with pre-recorded background music?

Why are you here in a thread that you don't care about? Is this like when you publicly "quit" PPP? You secretly love it?

I saw it twice at First Niagara. Music was also fantastic. Roger Waters surrounded himself with excellent musicians for this.

Only pre-recorded stuff was for the speaking and/or sound effects intros to some of the songs.

However even though it was music being performed live it is hard to compare it to a normal concert because it was much more than that. Definitely one of the best live music experiences I've ever had though.

the music was so good it very well could have been pre-recorded. Waters voice sounded fabulous, the band sounded very good as well...but there is no way to deny how the visuals were the stars of the show...oh and g.e. smith on guitar was a very nice touch...

...and let me be clear, if they used a pre-recorded track and waters lip synched I would not have been upset, the imagery and visuals were worth every penny...plus some...it was a theatrical event, not just a music concert

If I didn't care about it why did I ask a legitimate question regarding the show you dipshit? I saw Roger Waters at the Hollywood Bowl a few years ago do the Dark Side of the Moon and much of the background music was pre-recorded.

I've heard he lip synchs some of it. And if I was good with pre-recorded music and lip-synching I'd save the money and hassle of the crowd and watch a DVD of the show.

You went to a concert to see a painting?

Yeah, Baroque is a style of painting.

As you know I like the smaller venues. But I'm just not crazy about going to a large venue to see anything. That's why I'm not a big fan of live sporting events anymore.

And I didn't know Baroque was a painting syle. You learn something every day.
