eball Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 The Jets player was giving him the business. ...down there.
HOUSE Posted July 11, 2012 Author Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) The Jets player was giving him the business. I had great seat for that game in New Jersey, right in front of the play. The ref said the penalty was to #99 which is wrong. its #93 I believe Kent Hull elbowed Lyons but it was well after he jumped on the pile. Kelly never commented on the play, just giggled. Strange play, I hate the Jets The remix is funny to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3DO7J7DNXk Edited July 11, 2012 by HOUSE
stinky finger Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 I can't believe the Falcons shutout the Eagles.
HOUSE Posted July 11, 2012 Author Posted July 11, 2012 I can't believe the Falcons shutout the Eagles. Washington beat New Orleans too. A real shocker
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Greatest penalty call in NFL history. Agreed. A distant #2 is "There is no holding on the play. The defender was simply overpowered."
HOUSE Posted July 11, 2012 Author Posted July 11, 2012 Ah, I love a good mystery It had to be a late hit on Kelly after the pass.
You herd it hear last Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 If I do recall correctly, "givin' him the business down there" is actually a 22 yard penalty and no gatorade or orange slices during halftime. The ball subsequently is turned over to the other teams 3rd string qb who has the option of either punting it through the uprights with his opposite foot from 46 yards away for 5 points OR your team taking the ball at their own 1 inch line with only 1 down to make it 60 yards for a first...WHEW! it's in the small print of the new CBA...
