millbank
When you think of a particular Band, Solo Artist each would have a signature song, or one you think of first when they are mentioned. For instance, the Beatles. Hey Jude? A Day in The Life? The Stones, Sympathy For The Devil? The Who Baba O'reilly? Frank Sinatra My Way? Name some bands, and what you think their signature song is... Pink Floyd for instance, I associated first Dark Side of Moon, may like other more so , but think Dark Side first when Pink Floyd mentioned. Jefferson Airplane, White Rabbit... Tragically Hip? Kevin
Van Halen for me is Summer Nights. Pearl Jam, Jeremy Ozzy, Crazy Train Bon Jovi, Wanted Dead or Alive GNR, Sweet Child O Mine Def Leppard, Pour Some Sugar on Me Poison, Talk Dirty to Me Doors, Riders on the Storm Pink Floyd can't be narrowed down to just one. There were so many signature songs they did. Money, Learning to Fly, etc.

For AC/DC, only an idiot would pick just one: Highway to Hell The Jack Whole Lotta Rosie Shoot To Thrill Back In Black For Those About to Rock (We Salute You) Dirty Deeds Thunderstruck Money Talks etc ... boyst
What kind of people don't pick You "Shook Me All Night Long?" You're an idiot. The bells people remember... Really, Hank Williams... Kaw-liga???? Huh? I would say: Hey Good Lookin', Cold, Cold Heart, or even Jambalaya before Kaw-Liga! Those are barely Hank Williams songs, though. They've been covered enough and redone. Anyone who would know Hank would know Kawliga.

Anyone who would know Hank would know Kawliga. Really... Don't get me wrong, Kaw-Liga is a great Hank Williams song... But not his signature. It is is the top 10, but not close to number one... Oh, well to each their own... Me personally: Jambalaya. Hard to nail a sig on Williams I guess. CDB - South's Gonna Do It Again Cheap Trick - Surrender Eagles - Take It Easy GNR - Sweet Child AC/DC - Shook Me Johnny Cash - Walk the Line Van Halen - Jump The others I don't know about. The only one I know that you got right is Queen. Sorry, but Levi's list is much more accurate! I would say Eagles is Take it Easy. CDB, gotta be Devil Went Down to GA. Steely Dan has to be: Do it Again OR Reeling in the Years... Those are early tunes (SD) and quite the sigs.
bbb
I can't argue with Reeling, but I like My Old School better and think it may be their sig song.
ExiledInIllinois
Here is an easy one: Don McLean: American Pie Of course, jboyst will say it is: Vincent (which BTW is an awesome tune)... He is quite the contraian!! :nana: I can't argue with Reeling, but I like My Old School better and think it may be their sig song. I agree... I am personally partial to My Old School... But not sig. I bet jboyst will say: Bodhisattva. Just funning you jboyst! What about Elvis? Gotta be: Jailhouse Rock No?
