Jim in Anchorage
I am getting tired of having to check if it is really "Mead" when I see the avatar... Took me 3 days to get over that. The other one just rants and raves so you soon pick it up.
Guffalo
My daughter, son inlaw, grand daughter , and son at white house 8 am this morning. Clarence came yesterday afternoon .Anyone else ever vist the white house? I went once in the early 80's. I had a friend who was with the Secret Service guarding the white house (the ones in uniform) He led me in and I changed out of my suit into jeans and T shirt for the Springstein concert later that night in a bathroom on the first floor. Didn't see much of the place other than the hallway by the rose garden, into the bathroom and back out to the gates.

DC Tom
My daughter, son inlaw, grand daughter , and son at white house 8 am this morning. Clarence came yesterday afternoon .Anyone else ever vist the white house? Been there. They're surprisingly casual about things...they SAY you can't leave the tour, but really, they just let you wander wherever you want. Loads of fun. Except we were able to get our pictures at the WH Press Briefing Podium and were able to look into the Oval Office, but not enter. My friend and I received "D" Visitor Badges and when I asked the Agent escorting us what the "D" stood for, the reply was "Do not leave my sight" Edited July 3, 2012 by BRAWNDO

My friend and I received "D" Visitor Badges and when I asked the Agent escorting us what the "D" stood for, the reply was "Do not leave my sight" Sounds like a friend of mine too. He was a very close friend to one of President Bush 43 closest advisors . The last time they were together in the White House he was warned not to stray and got to see the men with guns on the roof if he did. My daughter, son inlaw, grand daughter , and son at white house 8 am this morning. Clarence came yesterday afternoon .Anyone else ever vist the white house? No never been to DC or the White House. How exciting!!! A good reward for all the "working" trips overseas the last few years!

The only other 747-200's still operating are flying rubber dog sh*t out of China.
