JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Biggest FA bust...ever? Absolutely not. He had a decent first season and then was moved to DE in our stupid conversion to a 3-4. I'd call Langston Walker our biggest FA bust ever.
Captain Hindsight Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Absolutely not. He had a decent first season and then was moved to DE in our stupid conversion to a 3-4. I'd call Langston Walker our biggest FA bust ever. Dockery
rafter Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Absolutely not. He had a decent first season and then was moved to DE in our stupid conversion to a 3-4. I'd call Langston Walker our biggest FA bust ever. Langston and not Dockery? Sad part was they were from the same offseason..
MARCELL DAREUS POWER Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 stroud was aquired through a trade. he gave us two really good years. really good player in his prime. hope he does well!
boyst Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Stroud was far from a bust. A likeable guy, not expected to give us much coming off some rough years on his knees. A good fella. Worst bust ever? Billie Joe Hobert, Langston Walker, Dockery, Quinn Early...
Stevie Ray Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Watson the PR/KR/Toast You mean the punt catcher
atlbillsfan1975 Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Great Guy. Loved Watching him and Seymour play at UGA. He had a good year+ with the Bills. Seeing more guys realize it is time to hang it up now then ever. I am sure the concussion epedemic is playing into this some. Also players are maybe getting smarter with their money now?
loserlovers Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 quinn early? he was pretty decent, far from a bust. watson actually played solid cb in his last stretch of games.
The Wiz Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Absolutely not. He had a decent first season and then was moved to DE in our stupid conversion to a 3-4. I'd call Langston Walker our biggest FA bust ever. Dockery T.O.???
3rdand12 Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 stroud was aquired through a trade. he gave us two really good years. really good player in his prime. hope he does well! This^ guy made the probowl i maybe once or twice in his glory days. Thanks Mr Stroud for helping us out and best wishes in your retirement.
stony Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Biggest FA bust...ever? Rob Johnson? Dockery? We traded for him so I guess it doesn't even count but he was a decent contributor on the last 4-0 "mirage" Bills team. He came out w/ a vengeance against JVille that year when Trent led a 4th Q comeback on the road. I think James Hardy had a game winning TD that game which led 99.9A% of us proclaiming him to being the next big thing. Nothing special but not the worst ever.
Just Jack Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 what about maybin!! He was drafted, not a Free Agent. Two Words MIKE WILLIAMS, ARRGGHH! See my Maybin reply above
NoSaint Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 He was drafted, not a Free Agent. See my Maybin reply above Well, we're comparing him to a guy we traded for so....
Max997 Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 He was really good for the first 4 games of his Bills career but wasn't even average for the rest and was clearly not suited for DE in a 3-4
