TPS Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 http://www.grantland.com/blog/hollywood-prospectus/post/_/id/78605/game-of-thrones-season-3-episode-9-its-like-rains-on-your-wedding-day http://www.theatlantic.com/entertainment/archive/2013/06/was-i-game-of-thrones-i-crazy-bloody-showdown-underwhelming/276445/ Two greatly weekly write-ups that make me excited to get to work on Monday morning! Thanks for those. I preferred the first one since the writer hasn't read the books--I haven't either. Last night really left me with a sense of grief, but it's passed. The north better be revenged!

TPS Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 jeebers, wait till you see what season III has in store. sunofa ... !! jw Yeah, sorry for bringing it up in the Season 2 thread, but I remembered Kevin's response and I wanted to respond to it.
Jim in Anchorage Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 (edited) Up to S3E8. When the dragon mother bought her army with a dragon was the best TV I've ever seen. Rewound it 3xhttp://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=game+of+thrones&FORM=VIRE3#view=detail&mid=D16B9613529846548BF2D16B9613529846548BF2 Edited October 27, 2013 by Jim in Anchorage
DC Tom Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 jeebers, wait till you see what season III has in store. sunofa ... !! jw The Rains of Castamere? Yeah, B word of an episode. I actually think the series is better than the books. Martin has a rambling, verbose writing style. The producers of the show really tightened the story up without losing any of the essential themes or plots.
Jim in Anchorage Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Well just finished S3E10 so I'm done. Will definitely watch all 3 seasons again. Should be very interesting now that I have some idea who's who. What in the world is the dragon mother going to do with all those freed slaves?
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 After season 1 the TV series alters portions of the storyline read in the books. I've real all the books and I found it hard to complain when watching it with the family who have yet to read the books. Had to wait to the end of the show to mention what the diversion was and yet still not give out spoilers.
