Maury Ballstein Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 check out this great rendition of the game of thrones theme song............what a talent.
TPS Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 The unpredictability will continue. Holy crap! I had a difficult time sleeping after last night's episode. That was disturbing.
Kevin Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Holy crap! I had a difficult time sleeping after last night's episode. That was disturbing. Gonna watch it when I get home this morning. Can't wait.
Buftex Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 (edited) Holy crap! I had a difficult time sleeping after last night's episode. That was disturbing. Game changer to be sure...haven't read the books so that was not completely expected. Edited June 3, 2013 by Buftex
Joe Miner Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 I haven't watched any of Season 3 yet, but I've read the books. Without spoilers for everyone else, what took place in last nights episode? Was it a wedding?
wnyguy Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 (edited) Yes a wedding took place. It was a stunner. Edited June 3, 2013 by wnyguy
Joe Miner Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 I Yes a wedding took place. It was a stunner. Nice. Unfortunately I am a year behind on the HBO series. I have to wait until next year to buy them when they come out. I tried to get my wife to watch them with me, but the season 1 finale pissed her off too much. She likes very predictable shows, and doesn't like it when harm comes the characters she likes.
Kevin Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Yes a wedding took place. It was a stunner. I read the books and new what was coming and it's still a stunner. Damn. Disturbing.
UConn James Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Wow. Just.... Wow. First few notes of the music and I was like "Uh-oh." Where do they go from here?
Kevin Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 ah yes, must be Red Wedding time? Yeah but watch it anyway. There's a slight surprise.
eSJayDee Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 You got the sense from the very beginning that something was amiss, or at least not as it appeared. Didn't quite expect that, though.
Heitz Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Holy crapper - heck of an episode! I was traveling and saw the tweets (GOT was Crazy! Gamechanger!, etc.). As I watched and was near the end I thought "well, there were some big moves made, pretty crazy.", then it got real. Best show out there, you just never know what to expect...
Doc Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 You got the sense from the very beginning that something was amiss, or at least not as it appeared. Didn't quite expect that, though. Yep.
The Big Cat Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 http://www.grantland.com/blog/hollywood-prospectus/post/_/id/78605/game-of-thrones-season-3-episode-9-its-like-rains-on-your-wedding-day http://www.theatlantic.com/entertainment/archive/2013/06/was-i-game-of-thrones-i-crazy-bloody-showdown-underwhelming/276445/ Two greatly weekly write-ups that make me excited to get to work on Monday morning!
wnyguy Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 I'm not sure if I would like the series so much if I had read the books first? I read the first book after watching the first season and was amazed at how closely the series followed the book. Haven't read the rest of them though.
Wayne Cubed Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Wow, finally caught "the episode." Can't say I was as surprised as when Ned got the axe, but still it made for some amazing TV. I too have never read the books and I'm not sure I want to start, yet.
cantankerous Posted June 3, 2013 Author Posted June 3, 2013 The books are 10x better. If you haven't read them, you should.
