Jim in Anchorage Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 No, you are confusing the astronaut training in the big pool. There is gravity in a pool, however, you can simulate movement in zeroG by taking advantage of the neutral buoyancy properties of water... No. All mammal [ prior to their birth ]fetus on earth were developed in a zero G environment- their mothers amniotic fuild.
PromoTheRobot Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 No. All mammal [ prior to their birth ]fetus on earth were developed in a zero G environment- their mothers amniotic fuild. Floating is not zero-G. Gravity is still pulling on you no matter where you are. There is no place to avoid gravity but in space. PTR
Fezmid Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 You should've made this a poll. Personally I'd be tempted - how cool to be the first humans on a different planet? But I don't know that I could do it.
