I honestly believe they will have no problem finding people who would volunteer. They will have to find the ones that won't go berserk up there.

I'd bet that eventually they will have to have return flights because they will find some precious metals, etc that they will want to return to Earth. So you might be able to get back home but no guarantees. Then again after 20-30 years in Mars gravity, how will being on Earth feel?

Does not a embryo grow in a zero gravity environment on earth anyway? I defer to the good doctor, but would bump his man/woman ratio from 1/10 to 1/50. Just to be safe.

 

 

No, you are confusing the astronaut training in the big pool. There is gravity in a pool, however, you can simulate movement in zeroG by taking advantage of the neutral buoyancy properties of water...
