Chi-town Bills Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Has anyone seen how Potter has looked in camp? I know Lindell is our guy but we used a draft pick on this kid so im hoping he just booms the ball but haven's heard anything.
jimmy10 Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 I did read somewhere (sorry no link) that he was consistently whaling the hell out of the ball, out of the end zone, and had to be told to dial it back a little so the return guys could actually get some reps.
Florida Gator 14 Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 I did read somewhere (sorry no link) that he was consistently whaling the hell out of the ball, out of the end zone, and had to be told to dial it back a little so the return guys could actually get some reps. I think Chris Brown wrote that in one of his posts about Rookie Camp.
DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Potter punts the pigskin plus picks plays he prefers.
Dennis in NC Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Based on UDFA punter Shawn Powell's history, he could probably also function as the long kickoff guy (in addition to punting). Powell kicks off - over the evergreens!
San Jose Bills Fan Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Potter punts the pigskin plus picks plays he prefers. Sounds like he could give Peter Piper a punt for his pesos. Powell kicks off - over the evergreens! You mean he passed a peck of pillar-like pines?
Nanker Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Punts pounded pleasingly provide plenty of peerless pigskin prognostications!
Juice_32 Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Punts pounded pleasingly provide plenty of peerless pigskin prognostications! Winner
DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Damnit! HAHAHAHAHAHA Nanker does win!
ieatcrayonz Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Winner If he changed "plenty" to "plentiful" and took out the "of" it would have been 10/10. As it stands I'll give it 9.5.
MARCELL DAREUS POWER Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 yeah, if the new punter can also do the kickoffs, then they will only keep 2 kickers, not 3. hopefully batten can make it as a long snapper

Meathead Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 the only long snapping batten is going to be doing is at his new job putting on footsie pajamas at the retirement home
San Jose Bills Fan Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 the only long snapping batten is going to be doing is at his new job putting on footsie pajamas at the retirement home LOL. The only snapping he'll be doing is towel snapping in the boys locker room at the middle school he'll be coaching at.

Pete Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 How is Potter at actually kicking? Any chance he takes Lindell's job? How long a FG can he kick?
