Just Jack
Fulton boy featured on video shown at Stanley Cup opener Noah Delaney, a 10-year-old Fulton boy who won a day with the Stanley Cup, was featured on a video shown at the first game of the Stanley Cup finals on Wednesday. Noah wrote an essay about his father serving in Afghanistan and how hockey was a favorite shared experience for them. That essay won Discover Card’s “Day with the Cup” contest. PastaJoe
That scrimmage and the Cup were at the hockey rink that I play at on Sunday mornings. We saw a rolled up banner above the ice but didn't know what it was for, and we didn't find out about it until that afternoon on the news. It was closed to the public. If I had know I might have hid out in the locker until they brought it out and snuck a peek.
