Pete Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 C or E- I have to decide. I also am considering going into Times Square tomorrow morning. I have done that twice before for New Years and those are my two best New Years ever. Everyone should experience that once!
rockpile Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 Just family and a few friends over for food and drinks. I am past the point of partying myself into a stupor to welcome in the New Year.

rockpile Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 You know, with all these freaking cow bell avatars, I am not sure who I am talking to anymore!
Pete Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 If I was closer, Times Square would be my destination. 185778[/snapback] Its awesome Rock! Two of my greatest experiences ever were when the ball dropped and I walked around the streets of NYC all night with a bottle of champagne and my friends. Every car is honking its horn, every girl you pass gives you a hug, every guy slaps you high 5. I cant even begin to describe it but its incredible!
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 Actually I am going to a parents and toddler party tomorrow. five couples and their kids all under 2. Should be a hoot. needless to say, I'm not drinking at all, gotta save myself for Sat and Sunday.

jayg Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 Going to see GWAR. I haven't seen them as Gwar in 8-10 years. Leaving for BWI AT 5:30AM to catch a plane to Buffalo. Pizza and wings Sat, and FOOTBALL ON SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!
Dan Gross Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 Taking the wife and two kids to Last Night Perry http://www.lastnightperry.com/ (used to be First Night, but then the licensing fees for the name got too big). Let the kiddies get tired out there and when they're ready come home. The 5 year old will be allowed to stay up to watch the ball drop if she manages to stay awake. Go to bed shortly thereafter. I'd suggest those with families find their local "First Night" type celebration. Buffalo used to have a good one (when it was downtown). Haven't been since they moved it to the Elmwood Museum district.

However my best News Years Eve ever was 1973 at the Aud when ZZ Top opened up for Alice Cooper and I had a hand full of "Ludes" and some fine lookin ladies.
