According to your words, socialism should not be tolerated because it "is opposite individual liberty and the constitutional republic. I don't believe there can be any comprimise on this." Why are they tolerated... Even so much given a "protected" status by the gov't. What about fuel distribution networks? Surely I shouldn't be bound to the retail price of gas in 50 mile radius from my home... Where is the "free market" there? I would like to buy a 1000 gallons of petrol from the cheapest part of the country and have it shipped to my property. Yeah, wacky liberty... But that is what I want... Socialism, communism can't really be tolerated because it's opposite to individual liberty and the constitutional republic. I don't believe there can be any compromise on this. But I agree with you that most all other ideas have to be at least tolerated. Oxymoron much? The Constitution is pretty straight forward about freedom of speech and association. The First Amendment applies to all Americans. That includes people who may not have the same political views and beliefs as you.
