Humanity has plenty of effect on the weather. But to paraphrase George Carlin, Earth will shake off humans like a dog shakes off fleas. So yes in the long view humans have no real effect on the planet. But in the short term we have plenty of effect on the environment to make ourseves extinct. PTR Edited May 28, 2012 by PromoTheRobot
