Rico Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Didn't he really suck in the Texans playoff game at Baltimore? I would be none-too-pleased if I was a Ravens fan.
MattM Posted May 9, 2012 Author Posted May 9, 2012 Didn't he really suck in the Texans playoff game at Baltimore? I would be none-too-pleased if I was a Ravens fan. Yeah, but he's replacing Lee Evans, so....
BillsFanInLV Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Jacoby Jones? He is a sound #2 or #3 receiver as well as a dangerous returner but has had some maturity issues over the years. I've followed this guy's career and always liked him.
Max997 Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Didn't he really suck in the Texans playoff game at Baltimore? I would be none-too-pleased if I was a Ravens fan. Why? Bc he had a bad game? Jones is a solid receiver
Zulu Cthulhu Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Why? Bc he had a bad game? Jones is a solid receiver Eh, he's an OK receiver. He's always been worth more as a return guy.
turftoe Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Jerry Jones owns the Cowboys. I wasn't born yesterday. Jeepers.
bbb Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Our offseason just went from bad to worse. Wait - who is J Jones?
Rico Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Why? Bc he had a bad game? Jones is a solid receiver Not just a bad game, a horrible playoff game. His mistakes (plural) put the Texans into a big hole that they couldn't recover from. I sure wouldn't give history a chance to repeat itself by signing him.
Maddog69 Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 (edited) good for him. I don't think he is significantly better (if at all) than the guys we already have especially for the price he ended up getting paid. (2yrs $7m) In fact, David Nelson is already better than Jacoby and Nelson is just scratching the surface of his potential, IMHO. I'm excited to see what he does this year and am not desperate to replace him as our #2 unless it is a clear and drastic upgrade. Edited May 9, 2012 by Maddog69
