The Poojer
charles barkley had a really big chuckle at the reported GPA...it was pretty funny to see...but joking aside...good for Shaq! http://www.miamiherald.com/2012/05/03/2780478/shaq-is-soon-to-be-dr-oneal-an.html http://www.miamiherald.com/2012/05/05/2785133/shaq-becomes-dr-oneal-graduates.html 3.81 GPA Edited May 7, 2012 by The Poojer

C.Biscuit97
I hope this gets some real attention. There is probably no one who has less to gain from going back to school than O'Neal. Yet it is a great message to young kids. Good for him and this probably won't get half the attention as a story about O'Neal getting arrested. The Poojer
to their credit and the joking not withstanding, the nba coverage yesterday did make a big deal out of it. but you are right, for all that's wrong with the nba and some of their players. Shaq is one of the good stories, always seemed to stay out of trouble and play hard. I hope this gets some real attention. Several baseball players got in trouble this offseason, yet no one cares. The NBA is in the best shape it has been since the 80s. It is filled with likable young stars who play hard. It is a great league.

It is a great league. Could that be that they typically have the smallest number of players per team when compared to the NFL/NHL/MLB?
