Favre or Brees in championship game!

3 questions for TSW FF experts:

 

1-Who would you guys start this week (week 17) in the championship game:

 

Brett Favre (at Chicago)

Drew Brees (vs KC)

 

Both may sit....I have dominated all season, I will be pissed if I lose this because nobody is playing this week.

 

2-Should I pick up another QB to start?

My best choices:

 

Vinny Testeverde (at NY Giants)

Joey Harrington (at Tennessee)

Brian Griese (at Arizona)

 

 

3- Also, would you start any of the following over Marvin Harrison in week 17:

 

Michael Clayton (at Arizona)

Marcus Robinson (at Washington)

Donald Driver (at Chicago)

 

Week 17 FF Championship games= RJ

Assuming they get equal playing time, I would go with Brees over Favre, but I haven't heard anything on what the Chargers plan to do; although I would think Schottenheimer wants to beat his old team. I would probably go with the Bucs' just to be safe (Griese & Clayton).

I was thinking along the same lines, but then, when I think about it, I can't remember Favre ever sitting in a game, playoff spot clinched or not. Can you? Both teams, Green Bay or San Diego, have nothing to gain, nothing to lose this weekend. I was thinking it would be the perfect weekend for the Chargers to give Rivers a look...

 

Yes, I hate the week 17 thing, too... I got out voted on it the last two seasons, because it hasn't been a big factor the last few seasons. Ironic that I might be the very one to get screwed by it. The other irony is, if I lose, I will likely lose to a team playing Drew Bledsoe at QB. The same Drew Bledsoe that I cut in week 8, to pick up Brees. I have started Favre every game, except his bye week....
